DIY Calendar

Hey! So, I realized I (Lexa) never got a calendar this year, and so, instead of spending my money on buying one, I decided to see if I can figure out how to make one! I searched through a bunch of websites, but most of them you had to buy supplies, or it was really complicated, or it took up too much space, things like that. So eventually I gave up. Then, I had an idea for my own! It is really simple, and doesn't require a lot of supplies! So, here it is.

Supplies:
  • Small notebook that flips back (where the spiral is at the top)
  • Colored pencils or markers
  • Straight edge (I just used the side of a book, since I couldn't find my ruler 😂)

And that's actually all!

Instructions:

Note: It is probably just easiest to use the picture as a model instead of using the directions

Step 1: Flip to the second page, leaving the first one blank
Step 2: Write the name of the month on the top
Step 3: Separate it into 7 sections. Separate each of those into 2 sections, one of them being smaller
Step 4: In the smaller section, write the date
Step 5: Do this with each week
Step 6: Fill in your schedule!

Please note: I didn't do the whole year at once, so please don't think you have to! I told myself to do maybe a month or two a day, and I filled in my schedule as I went.

And, in case anyone is wondering how to do the last week of the month when it isn't a full week, here is how I did it:

You could even print off a picture to put on the bottom, or whatever you want! Anyways, thanks for reading this!! Please let us know how your calendars turned out, and if you have any questions or concerns, please email us and we will get back to you as soon as we can! Have fun with your personalized calendar!
