Hey people! So we finally got another cupcake recipe! And here's an idea to tweak either recipe, or any other cupcake recipes you find. They sell tools for it, but you can use a spoon to scoop out the insides of the cupcake, and fill it with frosting, m and m's, sugar, whatever you want! Anyways, this recipe is really good and really simple, so have fun making your next desert!
Banana Cupcake Recipe:
Ingredients:
3 large ripe bananas
3/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 egg
1/2 cup (or one stick) of melted butter
Directions:
Step 1: Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Step 2: Line 12 muffin cups with paper liners, and spray the liners with non-stick cooking spray.
Step 3: Mash bananas and sugar in a bowl, and mix it well with sugar.
Step 4: Mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
Step 5: Beat the egg with a fork in a measuring cup.
Step 6: Add the egg and melted butter to the banana mixture.
Step 7: Add the flour mixture, and stir until everything is moistened.
Step 8: Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin cups.
Step 9: Place in oven for 20 minutes, or until muffins are golden brown.
Step 10: Remove muffins from oven, and let cool for 5 minutes.
Edible Glitter
Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon Food dye (Whatever color you chose)
Direction:
Step 1: Combine the sugar into a bowl
Step 2: Pour Food dye into the bowl with the sugar. Mix well.
Step 3: Spread on parchment paper on a baking sheet.
Step 4: Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Step 5: Place in oven for 8 minutes.
Step 6: Let cool for 5 minutes, then enjoy plain or on your cupcake!
