DIY "Puppy Chow"
Hey, it's Lexa!! Here is DIY "puppy chow" mix you can easily make at home!! Go here for the link!! One small change we made was using almond butter instead of peanut butter, but it's just as good!! Another change was we heated almond butter and chocolate chips and butter on the oven until it was melted, which is one healthier way to do it, but if you are in a rush, the microwave will work fine.
(I took this picture off the internet because I couldn't get my own photo to upload)

Hi, its Annamarie! This craft is a simple one, takes 10 minutes, and is a great craft to do with friends!

Step 2: Punch two hole with a hole punch, and tie a ribbon and hand on a doorknob or hang on a bulletin board! Enjoy!!!

Picture Garland
Hey, it's Lexa. Ok, before I explain the project (you might not even need explaining, you can sort of tell by the picture) I need to explain why the picture is how it is. So, this room isn't Lexa or Annamarie's, it just someone we know. We thought it was a good craft idea, so we decided to post it. However, the unnamed friend didn't want her identity in the picture, so we had to cover up the picture of her with friends and things like that, so, sorry about that. But, you can still tell what it is, so it's fine. Anyways, here is the craft...
You need:
- clothespins
- string
- something to hang this up with (Tape, sticky stuff you hang on a wall, whatever)
- Pictures
- Optional: Cardstock paper
Directions:
- Print off your pictures
- Optional: Glue the pictures to cardstock paper
- hang a string on your wall by both ends
- Put clothespins on the string, and clip the pictures to them
- If you run out of space for pictures, you can rotate them. Use these 5 pictures this month, next month change them out for a different 5 pictures, etc.

Dream Jar
Hey, it's Lexa! So, here is a really cool way to keep track of all your dreams, and once you complete them!
What you need:
- Colorful Paper (Unless you want boring white paper, but I color coded my 'dreams' which I will explain in a minute)
- A jar (I used a baby food jar, but you can use a big mason jar, small mason jar, or even a box or something else to store your 'dreams')
- DREAMS (Because if you have any dreams or goals, go find a better way to spend your time)
Instructions:
- Cut the paper into little pieces that are small, but big enough to write on.
- Optional: Color code them!! Use small piece of paper to tape to the lid with the key. (Such as, Blue= school, or Pink=volunteering. Then Blue pieces of paper will be school related goals, and pink will be dreams related to volunteering) You could also just randomly write goals on colorful paper if you want.
- Write down your dreams!!
- Fold them (or roll them) and drop them in your jar
- make extra pieces of paper to keep somewhere in case you have a new dream to add
- Optional: Decorate the jar. I used glow-in-the-dark paint to randomly paint on the inside of the jar.
Now, when you need inspiration to do something, look through your dream jar!
When you've completed a dream:
Let's say your dream was to get straight a's through all of this year at school. Well, you did! Yay!
Just find the dream in your jar (This is when color coding helps!) and here are a couple options of what you can do:
- Put a checkmark next to the dream on the piece of paper, or highlight it, and stick it back in the jar. Now when you are looking through you can feel happy that you complete it!
- Move it to a 'Completed dreams' jar.
- I guess you can throw it out. 😞 I wouldn't, but you can if you want to. Actually, scratch that. RECYCLE IT! That's a better option.
- Anything else you can thing of. BUT NOT LITTERING!! Anything but that. SAVE THE EARTH! 😁😂
Yay!! Keep adding to your jar!! If you have any questions or comments, you can email us or post comments. Now, go have fun with your Dream Jar!

Poem Challlenge
Hey people it's Lexa! Before we get to the challenge, let's start off with this: Annamarie is an amazing poet (just kidding) and here is a poem about nonsense she just randomly sent me:
Crazy Crafts and Cooking
We are always booking
we make lot's of crafts
Maybe even a raft?
I eat too much sweets
I LOVE PEEPS
Lexa and Annamarie
We don't have a friend
called Larry
R brothers r friends
TO THE END!!!
Is anyone else confused?
here's a second one by her:
BlogSpot
It's a frog's sport
Where we make crafts
Super Fast
Posts are good
we have no duds
Ok maybe a few
not so new
Annamarie made,
in a rage
screaming, "THIS IS BAD"
"I'm still going to post it, yeah!"
Mic drop
Ok I'm really confused now. I'll stop confusing you guys and get on with the posts.
So, the poem challenge.
(I just ,made this up like 5 minutes ago.) You can do this with however many people you want. All you need to do is have one person say a sentence, and somebody adds to that with another sentence. You can do any kind of rhyming scheme you choose. I'll explain.
One way is this kind.
There was a king
he was tall
he liked to sing
at the mall
Or this:
There was a king
who liked to sing
at the mall
and he was tall
Anyways. Let's say I did the fist sentence, and Annamarie did the second, and I did the third, and she did the fourth, and so on. Just make sure everyone knows what kind of rhyming scheme you are going with.
You can do this at a party, on the phone, through texting, really anyway of communicating.
Here was our REAL 'Poem Challenge' poem (It went, Lexa, Annamarie, Lexa, Annamarie, et cetera.):
There once was a guy named Larry
Who had a friend named Barry
They liked to take the Ferry
To visit his (Barry's) dad named Terry
They went every week
They acted like freaks
And chased a girl named Dominique
WHO WAS ON FLEAK
Until she slapped them on their cheeks
For you competitive people:
Play without changing the word you need to rhyme with. You lose if you repeat a word or can't find anything that rhymes. Also, have the group of people you are playing with decide on a time limit. (Ex: 30 seconds. Or I used 60 seconds) You get that much time to find a rhyming word. If you haven't found a word in that amount of time, you are out. Go until one person is left, and they are the winner. You could also platy in teams, so you can help each other out. (This works best if there are at least 6 people).

Super Simple DIY Locker Clips
Hey guys! It's Lexa! So, here are some super simple clips to put in your locker! These can hold hair ties, pictures, papers, sticky notes, whatever you want!
All you do it paint clothes pins, and then put magnetic tape on the back. (We had the cut the magnetic tape to make it fit across the back.) Annamarie and I made these, and we did a color scheme, (baby blue and hot pink) but you don't have to. You can do chevron, stripes, or polka dots, like we did, or paint it all one color, or come up with some ideas of your own! Anyways, after painting them, let them dry for 24 hours before putting magnetic tape on and using!

Balloon Games
So, Annamarie and I decided to show you some fun and simple balloon games...with a twist! These are great for parties, or just having people over. (We tried them all before we played them, so, we will also give you our scores.) So, here they are!
Games... with a twist:
- Balloon volleyball... without hands! (Lexa won, 10-1)
- Don't let the balloon touch the floor... with two balloons, AND you can't touch each balloon more than two times in a row! (we got 55 taps on each balloon before one fell, which means we had to start over.)
- Hide balloons... timed! Pick one room and hide 4 balloons in that room, and then the other person will find them. Give them 100 seconds to find all ballons, or the person who hid them wins! (Lexa won.)
- Don't get hit! (We made this game up!) Have someone stand in a corner, and they can't move their feet from where they are now. Give them one balloon to use as a shield, and then throw balloons at them! (You are allowed to go retrieve your balloons.) Give them 60 seconds. If they can survive without getting hit 3 times, in the allotted time, they win. If not, you win! (Lexa won.)
There you go! (In case no one noticed, Lexa is kinda the competitive one) Enjoy the games!

DIY Back to School Nail Art
Get fancy nails for school!!!
For the second image's accent nail, which is a paper for school, paint white nail polish fully on nail. You may need 2-3 coats. Then, use a toothpick, dab red polish along the left side of the nail. Try to get it as straight as possible. Then, once dry, dab on blue lines also using a toothpick. Dry, then apply clear polish.
*#1=first nail polish of desire
#2=second nail polish of desire
DIY Galaxy Binder Cover
Hi It's Lexa! And Annamarie!! We are having a sleepover right now, in fact, as I type right now, we are talking about this, and we are having a sleepover, and as Lexa laughs behind me, I, Annamarie, am typing very slowly. Just kidding. Now-
Ok, I'm taking the keyboard back from her. It's Lexa. Anyways, here is a simple DIY Galaxy Binder Cover.
Instructions:
Step 1) Get your materials ready. You need: paint, tape (if you want to make a word), and a sponge.
Step 2) Cut out letters or shapes, and stick them on the paper wherever you want.
Step 3) Dip the sponge in the paints, and dab wherever. Make sure to partially mix the paints once they are on the paper.
Step 4) Once finished, let dry for an hour. Then, peel the tape off.
Step 5) Stick in a binder, or hand up, or do whatever you want with it!
Step 5) Stick in a binder, or hand up, or do whatever you want with it!
YOU ARE FINISHED!!! Good luck.
(The word on the binder cover is pretty much Lexa (me) in a nutshell. Annmarie agrees. Also Annamarie is reading this as I type and it's messing me up.)

DIY Painted Pencils
Hey, it's Lexa! So, I don't really enjoy using plain, boring, regular pencils. I ususally use ones that are colorful and have some sort of design, or I use mechanical pencils. Here's a simple way to personalize your 'normal' pencils, so you can do some art AND make your normal pencil's how you've always dreamed they'd look. (Ok, so maybe dreaming about your perfect pencil is weird. But still, here's how to make a 'normal' pencil your own.)
Supplies:
Step 5: After 24 hours, take the tape off of the pencil, and sharpen if you haven't already.
Step 6: Use!! The pencil still works as a pencil, all you did was make it colorful!!
Painting ideas:
Supplies:
- Acrylic paint in whatever color you chose
- pencils
- pant supplies
- paper (to cover work space)
Instructions:
Step 1: Cover your work space and get ready
Step 2: Put tape over whatever part of the pencil you don't want to be colored (tip, eraser, et cetera)
Step 3: Use a base coat in whatever color you want of acrylic paint. (I used white.) You can do this one side at a time, but an easier way is to paint the whole pencil and balance it between two things, so the tip is on something, and so is the eraser, but the rest is in the air. (After you've painted it, so it can dry.) I used two paint bottles for this, placing the tip on one bottle, and the eraser on another.
Step 4: Let dry, then finish painting. (I added polka dots, but you can do polka dots, hearts, stripes, et cetera) Dry Time depends on your paint. I waited 20-30 minutes. Repeat this step as many times as necessary until you are finished with your pencil.Step 5: After 24 hours, take the tape off of the pencil, and sharpen if you haven't already.
Step 6: Use!! The pencil still works as a pencil, all you did was make it colorful!!
Painting ideas:
- polka dots
- stripes
- chevron
- hearts
- stars
- smiley faces
- just one color!!
Techniques:
For polka dots, use the holes in notebook paper, or hole-punch regular paper.
For stripes, use the lighter color on the whole pencil, and once that dries completely, put tape over the part you still want to be the lighter color, and cover it in the darker color.
Now enjoy your DIY painted pencils!
Now enjoy your DIY painted pencils!

Bonus Post 2017: School Organization Tips
Hey people of the world! (Or are you not from Earth...?) It's Lexa! So, we all need some organization tips. Even if you consider yourself a pretty organized person, there is always that time when you forget something, lose something, run out of something, blah blah blah. So, here are a couple tips for you, whether you are usually pretty organized, or... not so much.
1) keep extra small things, like rubber bands, paper clips, and erasers in a little tin, like an empty Altoids container, or something similar.
2) Clean up extra papers on the bottom of your locker as soon as you see them. Throw them out, or put them back in a folder.
3) Keep folders and binders clean! Take them home once a month and sort through what you still need, and what you don't.
4) Keep library books, and other things you need to return to someone, on a top shelf, or in another location where you can easily find them, and where they won't get lost. Also, if you need to keep it in your backpack, make sure it doesn't get stuck at the bottom, and lost or destroyed. Which brings me to the next tip...
5) Clean out your backpack once a month. You can easily lose small things, and papers at the bottom, and even rip and break things without meaning to. Besides the fact that extra papers and books at the bottom of your backpack add extra weight, which could make your book bag get really heavy...
6) If you find yourself running out of room in a folder or binder, take it home and look through it, Throw out what you don't need. If you aren't sure if you should keep it or not, stick that in a separate folder, and put it back in your locker. Then, ask your teacher after/before class if you need those things anymore. If he/she says no, but you think you might want to keep them, take the folder home, so you can easily use them to study, and easily throw them out if you decide you don't need them anymore. If he/she says yes, put those things back in your original folder or binder.
7) There have been a lot of times when people ask me to borrow pencils, or erasers, or something, and they never return them. Or, they claim it's theirs. So, here's an idea. Write down who you lend things to, the date, and what it is, so you can 1) remember and 2)have proof when they tell you it's theirs. You can also write your name on your pencil. Speaking of that...
8) If you aren't fond of writing your name on your pencil, here's a simple system to mark all your pencils and pens. Option 1: write your initials at the end of the pencil, near the eraser. Option 2, the Symbol System: make a mark, like a star or a heart or a smiley face or something, in the same place. Or, I know some people who do this: Option 3: If it is a no. 2 pencil, the kind you have to sharpen, color the tip of it. (The wooden part that isn't whatever color the pencil is. not the lead.) Option 4: If it is a mechanical pencil, break off the clip of it. (The part you use to clip it onto something.) But, just so you know, some people accidentally do that, so I personally wouldn't prefer this. Anyways, now you can point it out to tell as more proof that it's your pencil.
9) Just like people like to steal pencils, people like to steal erasers. Of course, sometimes people just mistake it for their own, or forget to give it back, but you still probably want to get it back. So, write you name on it, or initials, (if it's the kind that does NOT go on the end of your pencil), or use your Symbol System!
10) Hide things!! So you might have money or something in your locker or backpack, which is always smart. But if you don't have a lock, it could easily get stolen. So, use an Altiods container, or something like that, to put money or other small, important things in. People will think it's just mints if they see it. You can also use other sorts of containers that people aren't likely to touch as hiding places, or put it in a bag, and stick it under things. (Just make sure not to lose it)You could also put it in things, in things, in things. Or, some backpacks have secret compartments. Put it there! Another idea is to put it in something that is always with you, like a notebook you carry around all day, or something. A simple idea for a notebook, is... read 11. At the end of that I'll explain where to put the money/whatever-it-is.
11) Use a binder clip as a book mark for a notebook. Clip all the used pages together. To hide money here, put it in a bag and stick it at the top of one of the pages, so it is secured with a binder clip.
1) keep extra small things, like rubber bands, paper clips, and erasers in a little tin, like an empty Altoids container, or something similar.
2) Clean up extra papers on the bottom of your locker as soon as you see them. Throw them out, or put them back in a folder.
4) Keep library books, and other things you need to return to someone, on a top shelf, or in another location where you can easily find them, and where they won't get lost. DIY Locker Pencil and Pens Holder
Hey, It's Lexa! So, schools will be starting back up again soon. Some of us are excited, some aren't. But, one of the good things about school starting back up again it that there are an endless possibility of crafts to make for school! So, here is our first craft In the Back-To-School Collection!
I apologize if you are having a hard time understanding the instructions!
I apologize if you are having a hard time understanding the instructions!
Supplies:
- toilet paper/paper towel roll
- colorful paper
- tape
- glue
- pencil/pen (to label)
- cardstock
Step 1: Cut the paper out, as tall as the toilet paper/paper towel roll (a finished one, that doesn't have any toilet paper/ paper towels on it) is. If you want the roll to be shorter, cut it, then cut the paper.
Step 2: Tape the end of the paper to the back, matching up so that you can't see the paper towel/toilet paper roll.
Step 3: put glue lines along the roll, and wrap the paper around to the back, and tape in place, over the previous tape.
Step 4: Cut a bottom out from cardstock, and tape from the inside.
Step 5: Make a label! (You can tape it or glue it. On the pens, I put tape over the whole label. I glues it on pencils, but to glue it, do that before your roll the paper along the roll.) You can also make a wider one for things like extra scissors and glue.
Enjoy!! You can also use patterned paper to change things up, or combine pencils and pens in one.

Simple DIY Earrings
You can't really see the earring backing on the picture, but it's there)
All you need is an earring backing, that you can buy from a craft store, and craft glue, and whatever you want the actual earring to be. I used a button, that I pulled string through the holes a few times.
How to make:
Note: I will say button in these steps, but that just means whatever you want the earring to be. Like, if you are using a bead, you can replace my word button with bead.
Step 1: get your button ready to how you want it. Such as paint it if you want, put string through the holes like I did, or whatever you want to do. If you like it the way it is, skip this step.
Step 2: get out your earring backing, and use craft glue to glue the button to the earring backing.
Step 3: Repeat steps 1-2 for your second earring.
Step 4: Let dry for 36 hours, and then wear!!
Feel free to email us if you have any questions or concerns at losangelesbffcupcakers@gmail.com!!

The Drawing Challenge
Hey, it's Lexa! So, this is the Drawing Challenge, which is super fun and hilarious. It's fun to do on a long car ride, or, if you are going on a school field trip, (that's when I created this challenge) or even just if you are bored!
What you need:
What you need:
- A piece of paper (a notebook works)
- a pencil or pen
How to play:
You can do it by yourself if you want, but it is more fun with multiple people. You can have as many people play as you want.
All you do, is close your eyes really tight, and your friend tells you something to draw. If you are by yourself, you can think of your own thing. The only rule: you MUST pick your pencil up! When you are done, open your eyes and see your wonderful drawing.
Ideas of What To Draw:
- Giraffe
- car
- storm
- umbrella
- dog
- cat
- couch
- shark
- park
- family
- a bedroom
Of course, you can use your own ideas too. If you are more experienced with drawing, such as if you like to draw and spend time drawing things, I would suggest drawing something harder.
Harder Version of the Game:
If you have colored pencils (or crayons or markers) on hand, color it too! You can either open your eyes to see it, and then shut them again and color it, or don't even open your eyes until you are completely done!
Feel free to leave comments or email us at losanglelesbffcupcakers@gmail.com with any questions, or your results, or just things to say. Have fun with the game!
Also, please take the weekly poll!! We promise, no info from you, or anything. Just an answer. And thanks to those you already do, or have taken one.

Bonus Post 2017: Tips for Tricking People into Thinking Your Old iPhone is Not So Old
Hi, it's Annamarie, I'm also known as the friend with "the old phone". I have an iPhone 4S, which is one of the older models for Apple. Literally, I cannot find one CASE for it in a store besides plain colored ones on Amazon. My parents said I'm not getting an upgraded phone for three years. From old emojis to bad pictures, here's some ways you can make your old phone seem not so old to people.
-Get a gel case. Gel cases, especially the clear ones, make your phone look both wider and longer. Also, there's a less chance of the phone cracking.
-Put on the screen a clear screen protector. Make sure there is no bubbles when you put it on.
-Get a popsocket. This makes your phone look popular and stylish - plus helps to hold it!
-Clean the screen daily. This is a BIG part of tricking people into thinking you have a brighter screen. Grab a paper towel and dampen it to clean the screen.
-Make sure that your home button is clean. A dirty, yellow colored button makes your phone look old and dirty. A white, bright button makes the phone look like a Touch ID sensored phone!
-Turn up your brightness.
-Get a white and bright and colorful wallpaper.
-If your your posting a picture on social media, edit it to look brighter and detailed.
Hope you enjoyed how to make your old iPhone look upgraded!!! This helped a lot for me, going from a dirty, small phone to a brighter, cleaner phone!! Sadly, I am stuck at an iOS 7, but that doesn't stop me from loving my phone!!!

- 1 cup ice
Instructions:
Step 1: Mix all fruit together in blender. Add water while the fruit is blending, until the mix is how you like it.

DIY Garland Ideas
Garland #1: Watermelon Garland
Supplies:
- Scissors
- glue
- tape or hole punch
- string in your color choice
- green paper
- pink paper
- sharpie or black marker
Step 1: To create the watermelons, you need the above materials. first, cut out as many pink triangles as you'd like.
Step 2: Cut long green rectangles, for the edge of the watermelon.
Step 3: Glue the green rectangle on to the pink triangle and let dry.
Step 4: After you let it dry, cut the edges of the rectangle so it matches up with the side of the watermelon. Put some black 'seeds' on the watermelon.
Step 5: Either put two hole punches in the top of the watermelon and to pull the strings through, have tape ready.
Now, the words...
Supplies:
- Paper in your color choice(s)
- Sharpie
- String in your color choice(s)
- Hole punch or tape
Step 1: Cut the paper into your choice of shape. I chose squares with a scalloped bottom.
Step 2: When you are finished with that, write your word on it. My word of choice was 'Love' but some other ideas are:
Love, Peace, Joy, Happiness, Faith, Believe, Live, Summer, or your name, Such as I could have replaced ;'Love' with 'Lexa'. Now write that word on your shapes. I did one letter per square.
Step 3: Tassels! Look up how to make tassels, or see a coming-soon video on DIY tassels.
Step 4: Either put two hole punches or have your tape ready.
Step 5: Sort your watermelon into two equal piles. Such as, if you cut 14 watermelon, put 7 in each pile.
Step 6 for hole punching: Hole punch both ends of your watermelon, (or shape) and pull the string through. Put half your watermelon on the string, equally spaced, and then put your words and tassels on. Then finish it by putting the rest of the watermelon on and hanging it up!
Step 6 for taping: Tape the string to the back of your watermelon or shape. Put half your watermelon on the string, equally spaced, and then put your words and tassels on. Then finish it by putting the rest of the watermelon on and hanging it up!
Garland #2: Sweet Treats Garland
Supplies:
- Colored paper
- Tape or hole punch
- Glue
- String
- Markers
P.S. Sorry for the poor quality of the Sweet Treats Garland Pictures.
There really aren't any steps for this. Just cut the paper out and glue it into treat ideas and then tape the string to the back of it, or hole punch it and string it, then hang it from your doorframe or on a wall.
Treat ideas: Ice cream, donuts, m&m's, cookies, cake, cupcakes.
Garland #3: Picture garland:
Hey, it's Lexa. Ok, before I explain the project (you might not even need explaining, you can sort of tell by the picture) I need to explain why the picture is how it is. So, this room isn't Lexa or Annamarie's, it just someone we know. We thought it was a good craft idea, so we decided to post it. However, the unnamed friend didn't want her identity in the picture, so we had to cover up the picture of her with friends and things like that, so, sorry about that. But, you can still tell what it is, so it's fine. Anyways, here is the craft...
You need:
https://crazycraftsandcooking.blogspot.com/2017/09/picture-garland.htmlYou need:
- clothespins
- string
- something to hang this up with (Tape, sticky stuff you hang on a wall, whatever)
- Pictures
- Optional: Cardstock paper
Directions:
- Print off your pictures
- Optional: Glue the pictures to cardstock paper
- hang a string on your wall by both ends
- Put clothespins on the string, and clip the pictures to them
- If you run out of space for pictures, you can rotate them. Use these 5 pictures this month, next month change them out for a different 5 pictures, etc.
Garland #4: Tassel Garland (with dry-erase flags!)
Hey, it's Lexa! So, recently, I've been wanting a whiteboard, or something to easily display information and reminders on! And then I was thinking about making a garland for my bedroom door. And THEN I remember in elementary school, writing on lamented sheets of paper with white board markers. So I realized I could make some sheets of paper, have them laminated, and I'd have a whiteboard! But having a random piece of paper on my wall, lamented, might look kind of weird. So then I had the idea to combine them, and make a garland with some dry erase flags! So, here's what you need for this project: *Paper to laminate and make into flags *tissue paper in your color of choice *some sort of string or yarn to use you put the tassels and flags on
So, making the flags is pretty simple. Just cut the paper into the shape you want, laminate it, and hole punch it. Then you can put it on the string or yarn you are using. It should be easy to use dry erase marker on it, and erase it!
If you don't know where to laminate it, you can also use tape on a plastic binder tab thing, usually they are dry-erase. Then you should be able to cut it up. You could also cover your paper with strips of tape, which should work the same way.
For the tassels, I found a website that explained really well (with pictures!) how to make the tassels. Here is the link to that website. After that, put them on a string and put it up where you'd like! Comment below or send us an email with any questions or comments! If you don't know where to laminate it, you can also use tape on a plastic binder tab thing, usually they are dry-erase. Then you should be able to cut it up. You could also cover your paper with strips of tape, which should work the same way.
More coming soon!

DIY Starbucks Strawberries and Creme Frappiccino
Note: can be substituted so it is dairy-free
This delicious copycat Frappuccino is both easier and cheaper than getting a water at Starbucks! (Bad joke?) 😂
Annamarie here. If you've ever been to Starbucks, you may know of the high prices for coffees, lemonades, teas, Frappuccino, and secret menu drinks. (Hey - what even happened to the unicorn Frappuccino?)
Since it is summer season where me and Alexa live, the strawberries and creme frap is perfect! I wanted to go to Starbucks today, but of course the response I get - "no, it's too expensive," so I had to make-do and look on Pinterest for copycat recipes. I came across a healthy version of the strawberries and creme frap that was considered, "skinny" and "healthy". So, I put my own twist to it, and came up with this:
Ingredients:
-1 cup frozen strawberries
-1/2 cup milk*
-heaping handful of ice
-1 cup strawberry Greek yogurt (or regular, if you use regular, add extra strawberries)*
-whipped cream, optional
Place all ingredients in a blender (or I used a food processor) and blend for 30-60 seconds. First, I put in the liquid ingredients, then slowly added the strawberries and ice. Top with whipped cream, optional.
*milk can be substituted for coconut or almond milk for dairy-free, or substituted with skim milk
*yogurt can be substituted with a dairy-free yogurt
Want to add chocolate for a dipped chocolate tang? Add Nutella or chocolate syrup for a special twist.
Please comment on how you like this!!
Fun fact: Lexa has never been to Starbucks!
