Hey, it's Lexa. So, here is a French Chocolate Cake. It's a rich, chocolatey cake that's really good. Here is the recipe:
Ingredients:
- 2 tsps. vanilla extract
 - pinch of salt
 - 3/4 cup unsalted butter
 - 1/4 cup flour
 - 10 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
 - 1 cup powdered sugar
 - 5 eggs, yolk and whites separated
 
- Preheat Oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit
 - Generously butter a 9 inch cake pan, then sprinkle with a little sugar and tap out excess
 - mix butter, chocolate, and sugar in a saucepan
 - Stir and cook over low heat until butter and chocolate have melted, and sugar has dissolved.
 - Remove from heat, and then stir in vanilla
 - Beat egg yolks into mixture
 - stir in flour
 - In a a bowl, beat egg whites until frothy
 - then add salt and stir faster until peaks form
 - sprinkle 3 tbsp. of sugar and beat until the whites are stiff and glossy
 - beat 1/3 of the whites mixture into chocolate, then fold in remaining remaining whites
 - pour mixture into tin, and bake for 35-45 minutes until well risen
 - allow to col completely, then remove from pan. Well cooled, sprinkle with powdered sugar
