DIY Fidget Spinner (Without A Bearing)

Fidget spinners are popular toys that a lot of people want. They are mostly intended for kids with ADHD, but, really - ALL KIDS LOVE THEM. However, a lot of them are around $20. In this easy do-it-yourself craft, we will show you how to make a super easy and cheap fidget spinner using materials you have around the house!!!!!!! ENJOY!!!!  ✇  😁  💖  💞

Materials:
-duct tape
-10 pennies 💰
-a skewer
-vegetable oil 🛢
-scissors ✂
-nail
-hot glue

1. Grab duct tape and attach 4 pennies in a row, with 1/2 inch of space between the second and third pennies, on one side of the duct tape.
2. Add one layer of pennies on top of each of the four pennies, so there is a total of eight pennies on the duct tape.
3. Fold over the duct tape over the pennies.
4. Grab scissors and cut around the edges of the pennies to make round sides.
5. Using a exact-o knife, cut a hole big enough for a skewer in the space in between the second and third pennies.
6. Put vegetable oil on the skewer so the skewer goes through the hole easily.
7. Cut the skewer so it is about one inch, and put it through the hole.
8. Set that aside, and grab two pennies. Wrap each penny in duct tape, and cut around each penny so the edges are round.
9. Attach hot glue to each end of the skewer, and attach each duct-taped-penny to the glue.
10. Let the glue dry and you're done!! Enjoy!

Craft Challenge

We challenge you (and your friends) to a craft-off! This game is simple for parties, or just to have fun. Take a bag of your choice, (paper or plastic) and have fun with this really simple game!

It's simple. Find some supplies around you house, and put them in a bag for each of your friends or family members. Give them a time limit, and it could be over multiple days, if it's not for a gathering or party, and when that is up, see who has created the best thing out of those materials! Have everyone vote for the best, (of course, you can't vote for your own!) or give them a couple of votes, and whoever has the most at the end wins!

If you chose, the only outside materials to use are scissors and glue. But, to make it harder, get rid of this rule if you please! For some ideas, ours included:
  • A button
  •  some stickers
  •  string
  •  piece of paper
  •  popsicle stick
  • googly eyes
  • pipe cleaners

Use your own ideas to add to this, or find a way to change up the game. Please post comments with any questions, new ideas, or your results! We'd love to hear what you made!!

DIY Mini Donuts (Edible too!)

These mini donuts go great with dolls and stuffed animals- but they are a treat for you as well!

All you need is:

  • Cheerios
  • Powdered Sugar
  • Sprinkles
  • Honey
  • Paper
  • Cinnamon
  • White sugar

Grab a cheerio and...
-Cover entirely with powdered sugar. This makes a powdered sugar donut.

-Dip in honey and coat with sprinkles for a sprinkled donut.

-Mix cinnamon and white sugar together and sprinkle on cheerio for a cinnamon donut.

Make a mini box for the donuts to lay in with the paper and there you go! A package of mini donuts perfect for you and your doll!

Note: Box can be made out of paper, and if needed, use https://paper-design.wonderhowto.com/how-to/make-mini-paper-square-boxes-339746/ to help you make a small paper box. After that, decorate the box!!

DIY Mini Accessories

These mini accessories are super simple, and are perfect for dolls or stuffed animals! ☺

As you can see, the image shows a diary, envelope, letter, some pencils, and lip stick. The only materials that you need for the pencils are toothpicks and markers/sharpies.

Steps for pencils:
Step 1: Break/cut a toothpick in half, or however small you want. The sharp end will be the point.
Step 2: Color!

Note: If you would like to make the end not so sharp, just use the pencil as if you were writing, and it will break down the tip!

Steps for notebook/diary:
Step 1: Find some lined paper, or computer paper if you don't want the lines.
Step 2: Stack some papers so that all of them will be the same size. If needed, trace a rectangle on to other pieces if you would like it to be easier and straighter.
Step 3: Fold them all in half, and staple on the side.
Step 4: Decorate the cover and back however you chose, and put some writing on the inside if you would like!

Steps for the envelope and letter:
Step 1: cut a piece of paper, and write out your invitation on it. Now set it aside.
Step 2: Fold in the sides of a small piece of paper, cut a little more than as wide as the letter.
Step 3: Only fold the sides a little bit, then fold it in thirds, so the folded sides are still on the sides. Then unfold and glue the folded sides down.
Step 4: One 3rd will be folded up, the rest you will fold down over it.
Step 5: Cut a triangle shape out of the part that is on top, so it looks like a real envelope.
Step 6: Address the envelope, and decorate if you would like!
Step 7: Fold the letter so that it will fit inside, and use tape or a sticker to tape the envelope if you chose.

Steps for lip stick:
Step 1: Find a small crayon of the color of your choice. Cut it to the size you chose, and however pointed you want.
Step 2:Cover the bottom 3/4 in foil.
Step 3: Cover part of that in black duct tape, wrapped around a couple times, and there you have it!

Note: If you are having trouble making it pointed, just find a piece of paper and draw on it with the same side until it is pointed.
